The Salvation Army Deploys Relief Teams to Provide Support After Flooding in the Northeast

Jul 11, 2023

Relief teams are providing hydration services and snacks to responders while providing hot meals and cleaning supplies to flood survivors

The Salvation Army is currently working with local and state emergency management officials and other disaster relief organizations in response to significant flooding in Eastern Pennsylvania, New York, and catastrophic flooding in Vermont.

Salvation Army relief teams are providing hydration services and snacks to responders while providing hot meals and cleaning supplies to flood survivors across the northeast.

The Salvation Army urges everyone to listen to local emergency management officials for important information on potential flooding and evacuations.  Be cautious while driving and NEVER drive through running water.  "Turn Around, Don't Drown!"

While The Salvation Army continues to learn of new areas being impacted, volunteers and disaster teams members are being placed on alert to our next level of response.
