Educational and skill supplementation

We help individuals overcome qualification barriers though pursuit and completion of educational requirements, training, certifications and other prerequisites for gainful employment. Additionally, we help those suffering from mental illness or substance abuse pursue the treatment and/or mediation they need to function as healthily as possible.

Placement Assistance

We provide resume, interview and job placement assistance to help establish productive work for sustainable wages.

Medical Assistance

Nothing is more stressful during a medical emergency than the piling up of unpaid bills. Check with your local service center to see if funding is currently available for medical assistance. We may be able to help with insurance co-pays and prescription costs.

The Salvation Army invites senior citizens to form friendly relationships with others through our many senior centers and eldercare programs. To help combat the loneliness, depression, and loss of independence that often accompany old age, we provide group dining experiences, coordinated activities, visits to the homebound, and residential assistance for older adults in need of a senior living community.
