Multimedia & Digital Communications Developer

The Multimedia & Digital Communications Developer (MDCD) is primarily responsible for capturing and developing high standard multimedia content pieces, requiring a high degree of technical expertise and creativity. The position will direct on-set productions in a variety of capacities, including management and instruction of on-set assistants, and in serving as director of photography. The position also cuts and edits collected video footage until it meets the Director of Communications’ approval, including rearranging and splicing scenes that have already been shot, and inserting music, sound, or optical effects. This position will be responsible for managing all production equipment owned and leased by The Salvation Army for use in producing video pieces. This will include preparing equipment packages for shoots, cleaning and otherwise maintaining gear, transporting gear, and making recommendations for new purchases.

Emergency Disaster Services Program Specialist

The Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) position serves as a resource to the field, raises awareness related to disaster services and serves as an advocate for the EDS field necessities; produces quarterly reports; monitors and analyzes monthly/quarterly reports for trends and formulates recommendations to administration; completes application processes for national public and private funding opportunities; serves as a member of planning committees as deemed appropriate; deploys to Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) National Response Coordination Center (NRCC) when activated as a The Salvation Army (TSA) liaison for Mass Care (ESF 6). May be deployed to a disaster site and travel to multiple conferences/meetings each year.

External Communications Manager

Supports the Director of Communications in managing media relations, social media strategy, and corporate partner communications. Supervises the Social Media Coordinator and collaborates with internal and agency teams to develop and implement strategic communications plans. Project manager to the grant proposal process, including implementation and disbursement of dollars to Salvation Army territories; cultivates strong working relationships with key funders in order to maintain sustainable funding; participates in grant related presentations as required; oversees procurement of additional funding, including research and grant writing.
