How to Apply: Families can register online at https://saangeltree.org using the application code Application Code: . All applications must be fully completed and include the required supporting documentation.

Applicants must reside in one of the following eligible ZIP codes: 82005, 82007, 82009, 82001, 82053, or 82082.

Required Documentation: Families should have the following documents ready when completing their applications: a birth certificate for each child (Angel), a SNAP/Food Stamp printout (if applicable), identification for each adult listed on the application, proof of guardianship (if applicable), proof of income for all adults in the household, and proof of residency showing the applicant's name and address.

Acceptable proof of income may include pay stubs, SSI benefits, child support, EBT, DCF benefits, WIC, or unemployment benefits. Proof of residency may include a bill displaying the household's name and address.

Important Application Information: Applicants must include every person living in the household and report all household income, including wages, WIC, food stamps, SSI, Social Security, and any other forms of financial assistance.

When submitting Christmas gift wishes for children, families are asked to select age-appropriate toys rather than large electronics. Requested items should generally range from $15 to $30 each. Providing multiple gift options for each child increases the likelihood of receiving a suitable gift.

The Angel Tree Program is intended for individuals and families who need financial assistance and meet eligibility requirements based on Wyoming state standards. The program serves children ages 17 and younger and seniors ages 65 and older.

Families approved for assistance will be required to pick up their gifts at an assigned date and time in Cheyenne. Pickup location details will be provided by email after approval. Applicants must have a working email address to receive program updates and instructions.

Applications will not be approved until after November 2, 2026, and will be reviewed in the order received. Submitting an application does not guarantee that requested gifts will be provided, as all gifts are dependent on donor contributions.

Questions or Assistance: For questions about required documentation or the application process, please contact Captain Danielle Bratton at Danielle.Bratton@usw.salvationarmy.org.

Adopt an Angel

Adopt an Angel

In a typical year, The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program puts new clothes and toys under the tree for 1 million children who usually must go without Christmas gifts. Anonymous donors adopt these little “angels” in an expanding Christmas tradition that makes the season more rewarding for the gift giver and happier for the receiver. This year, please consider taking a few more angels off the tree or donating gifts in bulk.
