The Salvation Army Emergency Lodge in Sheboygan

The Salvation Army Emergency Lodge in Sheboygan is a 45-bed emergency shelter located at 710 Pennsylvania Avenue, downtown Sheboygan, WI. Open year-round, our shelter provides safe, supportive housing for individuals and families facing a housing crisis or experiencing homelessness.

Who We Serve

Homelessness affects more than just those battling addiction. Today, the homeless population includes women, children, families, and youth. The Emergency Lodge exists to meet the diverse needs of our community and offer hope, stability, and a path toward permanent housing.

What We Provide

Every guest at the Emergency Lodge receives:

  • A safe bed and clean linens
  • Secure clothing storage
  • Three nutritious meals daily
  • Intensive case management to build life skills and self-sufficiency
  • Our case managers meet weekly with residents to create individualized action plans. These plans focus on setting realistic goals that help clients transition to affordable, permanent housing and greater independence.

Intake Hours

New resident intake is available 7 days a week from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
