Toys for Tots
Every holiday season, The Salvation Army's Toys for Tots program brings joy to children across Manitowoc County. We believe no family should have to choose between paying the bills and giving their child a gift. By working together as a community, we can make sure every child in need wakes up to the magic of the season.
Through Toys for Tots, we aim to provide new, unwrapped toys to more than 1,000 local children this Christmas. This is only possible because of the generosity of our neighbors—individuals, churches, businesses, and local organizations who give so every child feels remembered and valued.
We are deeply grateful to the many partners who help make this program a reality, and to the dedicated volunteers who assist with registration, sorting, and distribution.
Every donation - whether it’s a toy or a few hours of your time - brings us closer to a brighter holiday for families in need. Together, we can make this season one of hope, joy, and community for all.
Registration
This year, The Salvation Army is migrating from in-person registration to an online registration for both our Coats for Kids and Toys for Tots programs. If you do not have access to sign up online, please call 920-684-7117 or stop in the office (415 N. 6th St) to register.
Registration for Toys for Tots is now open
The Deadline for signing up for Toys for Tots is Friday, December 5.
For online registration, please complete all of the required information to the best of your ability.
Please consider the following:
- Participants must live in Manitowoc County
- Only register children that live in your household
- Only register children that are 18 years old or younger
You will need the following documents:
- Identification for applicant and any other adults in household
- Address verification (utility bill from within the past 60 days, current rental agreement, etc)
- Proof of residency for every child (ex: BadgerCare or FoodShare Statement, School Records, etc)
- Birth certificate or guardianship papers for every child
Donations
For those looking to donate this year, our donation boxes will be out at local businesses from October 24 to December 5.

Distribution
Toys for Tots distribution will take place at our Christmas Toy Shop located at The Salvation Army Pantry (402 N. 9th St) on Tuesday, December 16, from 2 pm - 5 pm and Wednesday, December 17, from 9 am - 5 pm.
Clients will sign up for a time to come pick up their toys. More details to come soon!
