Volunteer

In 2024, Volunteers at The Salvation Army of Greater Green Bay logged a combined total of 20,637 hours!

Thanks to the generous time, talent, and energy of our volunteers, The Salvation Army is able to assist thousands of families, children, individuals, and seniors in Brown County each year.

Volunteers support us every day - whether serving hot lunches Monday through Friday or contributing during the busy holiday season, when bell ringers alone provide nearly 10,000 hours of service.

People volunteer with The Salvation Army as individuals, families, or community groups. Opportunities range from short-term projects to long-term commitments, many of which are seasonal. During Christmastime, volunteers help with toy, coat, and food distribution, as well as bell-ringing.

Our volunteer director works closely with individuals and groups to match their skills and interests with the needs of The Salvation Army. We hope every volunteer experiences joy and fulfillment as they share their gifts with others. If you’re looking for a meaningful way to serve, we would love to welcome you to our team.
