The Salvation Army invited you to join the Bags of Hope campaign. The information on this page will be a guide to collect items most needed for the individuals and families The Salvation Army helps each and every day. These items can make a life-changing difference.

How It Works

Step One

Either choose a container of your own or email Connie.Millard@usc.salvationarmy.org and reserve Salvation Army reusable red bags.

Step Two

Choose what you would like to collect from the list of items below.

• Children's Supplies: diapers, wipes, NEW socks and underwear, waterproof gloves, mittens, snowpants
• Toiletries: shampoo, deodorant, toilet paper, tissues, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes
• Cleaning Supplies: window cleaner, all-purpose cleaner, sponges, mops, brooms, buckets, toilet bowl brushes, toilet bowl cleaner
• Paper Products: paper towels, facial tissue, toilet paper
• Feminine Supplies: pads and tampons
• Laundry Supplies: laundry detergent, dryer sheets
• Unexpected Kindnesses: This is the donor's decision

We also need seasonal supplies.

• Summer Brown Bag Lunch Supplies: peanut butter, individually wrapped fruit cups, drinks, desserts, snacks
• Winter Warming Shelter Supplies: NEW socks and underwear, sweat pants, t-shirts, meal supplies/providers
• Christmas Gift Supplies
  • Tween and Teen Gifts: earbuds, books, games, gift cards, fuzzy socks, mittens, furry slipper socks, candles
  • Family Gifts: crock pots, flannel sheets, family movies/tickets, towels
  • Things to Do: NEW adult/children/family games, books, craft kits, etc.

Step Three

Fill you container. Invite your church, co-workers, organizations, neighborhood, friends, and family to join in!

Step Four

Return to The Salvation Army! Be blessed and know your kindness has blessed someone at a time when it's most needed.
