How you can help
Ring Bells
Most people are familiar with our Red Kettles and hear those bells ringing at locations throughout Calumet County. Red Kettles manned by joyful bell ringers receive 80% more donations than unmanned kettles, so we need your help! The funds raised during November and December stay in our community to assist with emergencies like the ones listed below:
- Utility disconnects
- Rent when eviction notices are received
- Food assistance
- Medical prescriptions
- Gasoline for vehicles to travel to work
- Auto repairs

Sponsor a Kettle
Sponsoring a Red Kettle Match Day multiplies the impact of community donations and provides visibility to your commitment to support Calumet County neighbors in need. Companies, organizations and individuals are invited to sponsor one or more kettles for a location and time period of your choosing. A total dollar limit may be set. We will gladly coordinate all publicity for your match day. The annual Red Kettle campaign ends December 24th. Please call 920-849-7856 or email John.Kost@usc.salvationarmy.org to learn more.
