Backpack Bash

About the event

We invite your congregation to partner with us for the upcoming Backpack Bash on
May 20 from 4:30-7PM at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Amery. This event supports our
local food assistance program serving children who may not have reliable meals on the
weekends.
Currently, more than 350 families receive support through this program each week. As we
continue to improve the way we serve families, we are transitioning to a weekly voucher
system that can be redeemed at local Kwik Trip locations. This allows children and families to
select fresh food items that best meet their needs while also reducing the stigma sometimes
associated with receiving a traditional 'backpack' of food.
