Holiday Toy and Food Assistance
Every year The Salvation Army of Yakima Valley, in partnership with other organizations helps thousands of families celebrate the holidays by providing holiday meal boxes and toys for children to families that might struggle to provide during this blessed season.
Holiday Children’s Clothing Assistance
The Salvation Army’s Project 700 is a holiday clothing assistance program for elementary school-aged children that seeks to provide new cold weather clothing for over 700 kids in the Yakima Valley through donor sponsorship and local partnerships.
The Salvation Army Social Ministries Office
The Salvation Army of Yakima Valley offers a wide range of social services including utility assistance, emergency food assistance, diaper and formula bank, homeless food and hygiene assistance, medical and bereavement travel assistance, and much more. The Social Ministries Office is open Monday through Friday, 9am-1pm and is located at 9 South 6th Ave in Yakima.
