Vancouver Corps Community Center Giving Back Information

Every community is unique. So are our services.

When it comes to the needs of different communities, one size definitely doesn’t fit all. That’s why The Salvation Army’s structure allows for each location to meet the very distinct challenges that are faced by the people in its own area. Where homelessness might be particularly troubling in one area, another might be experiencing an increase in drug addiction or hunger. And because we as an organization are so focused on meeting the needs of each community in which we serve, we believe your own donations should help your neighbors. Rest assured that for our grassroots services, each dollar, item, or hour of time you donate will go directly to helping your own community’s brothers and sisters in need.

Donate Online

Make a secure donation online. Your gift stays in your community, going directly to your local Salvation Army. Click here to make an online donation.

Donate By Telephone

To donate by telephone, call 1-800-SAL-ARMY.

Donate With A Check By Mail

You are welcome to mail a check, made out to The Salvation Army. Your gift stays in your community, and will go directly to your local Salvation Army, unless you direct otherwise. Please include 'Vancouver' in the memo line of your check.

Designate A Monthly Donation

A monthly gift to The Salvation Army allows you to make monthly donations conveniently and automatically. Every month, your donation will support the life-changing work of The Salvation Army in your community. To make a monthly donation, please fill out a donation form by clicking HERE and selecting "Monthly" under "Gift Type."

Matching Gifts

Many employers match the charitable donations of their employees, so the value of your gift to The Salvation Army is doubled, allowing us to help many more people in your community.

Contact your employer's human resource department to inquire about matching gifts. If you, or your employer, have questions about matching gifts, we invite you to call our office at 206-281-4600. If your employer already participates, and you wish to make a donation with a matching gift, please send the appropriate signed paperwork with your donation to:
