Hunger Services at Puyallup Corps Community Center
The Salvation Army is dedicated to alleviating hunger in our community. Our local office operates community food pantries to provide nutritious food to individuals and families in need. We understand the challenges food insecurity can pose in this area, and we're committed to helping.
This year, our food bank has distributed 25% more orders than last year. Like most food banks, more people come for assistance during the second half of the month, when the need is greatest for families.
Suggested items for donations include:
- canned goods (soup, chili, tuna)
- peanut butter
- box meals (pasta, rice, macaroni and cheese, cereal)
- bar soap
- toilet paper
- toothbrushes/paste
- deodorant
- razors and shaving cream
- shampoo and conditioner
- laundry detergent

Our Food Pantry Services
At The Salvation Army, we know that one of the first results to occur in times of crisis is food insecurity. We are is dedicated to eliminating food insecurity by serving anyone in need.
