Are you in the Las Vegas area? Our SEEDS of Hope program is here for you!
Human Trafficking is Mondern Day Slavery
If you or someone you think is a victim of trafficking, please call 702.649.8240.
There are services available to victims, but first they must be found.
The Salvation Army firmly believes that the abuse and exploitation of human beings through any form of human trafficking is an offense against humankind and against God.
We work vigilantly for the prevention of human trafficking and for the restoration of survivors.
The SEEDS of Hope program works in collaboration with local law enforcement, FBI, ICE and numerous community service providers to identify, rescue, and restore victims of all forms of human trafficking.
Las Vegas has been identified by a Justice Department risk analysis study as one of 17 cities nationwide most likely to be the top destinations for trafficking victims. Everyday in the Las Vegas valley, SEEDS of Hope works with both foreign and domestic victims of all ages and ethnic backgrounds.
Through our comprehensive case management services we can provide emergency shelter, transportation, clothing, food, victim advocacy, crises intervention and safety planning, medical and dental care, derivative family member benefits, mental health counseling, employment assistance, legal referrals, substance abuse treatment, access to child care, and other service recommendations.
We take a holistic approach to the clients' needs and challenges in order to help them move from victimization to self sufficiency. SEEDS of Hope, like all of The Salvation Army's programs and services, are made possible with the support of the community we serve.
Please take a moment to pray for those who are victims of modern day slavery.
