The Salvation Army walks alongside people across our community who are working to rebuild their lives in recovery. Our treatment programs offer whole-person care, addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of people navigating substance use disorder.
Every program is grounded in a safe, supportive environment where people can access counseling, medical care, and peer support, along with the practical tools they need to sustain long-term recovery.

Family Treatment Services
The Salvation Army has provided residential treatment services that include children for nearly 45 years, with Family Treatment Services established as its own program in 1993. FTS offers a full continuum of care for women building recovery from substance use disorder, from residential treatment through supportive housing and family reunification, keeping mothers and children together throughout treatment.
Addiction Treatment Services
Serving O‘ahu since 1970, ATS offers a full continuum of care, from withdrawal management and residential treatment to outpatient support, for adults building lasting recovery from substance use disorder. Because recovery is about more than treatment, it’s about rebuilding a life, care includes counseling, life skills training, and relapse prevention.

Adult Rehabilitation Center
The Adult Rehabilitation Center offers men a free, faith-based residential recovery program that combines work therapy, counseling, and spiritual care. Participants gain new skills and a renewed sense of purpose while contributing to the mission that supports their own recovery.

Lighthouse Recovery Centers
The Salvation Army operates two residential recovery centers in Tiyan, Guam: Guma Famaolo’an for women, many of whom are mothers, with family visitation space to help maintain connection with their children during treatment, and Guma Lalahi for men, offering recovery treatment, group counseling, and case management.
