Angel Tree 2026

Give joy to a child, teen, senior, or family in need this Christmas by donating a gift through The Salvation Army Hawaiian & Pacific Islands Angel Tree program.

About the Angel Tree Program

Each holiday season, The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program delivers gifts to keiki, kūpuna, and families in need across Hawaiʻi and the Pacific Islands. What began in the United States in 1979 with wish-filled cards on a mall Christmas tree has grown into a beloved holiday tradition, helping communities celebrate the spirit of Christmas.

As more of our local neighbors face financial hardship, your generosity helps bring hope and holiday cheer to those who need it most. Every gift represents more than a present—it’s a message of care, dignity, and joy.

Online Walmart Angel Tree Registries for Hawaiʻi

Shop from the comfort of home through our Walmart Registry for Good. Select your island or community, choose a gift, and it will be shipped directly to your local Salvation Army for distribution.

Please note that gifts purchased through our registries go into a larger pool of gifts that each corps selects from, so that no individual is left out.

Give In-Person

Prefer to shop locally? Angel Tags are available at Salvation Army corps and partner locations across the islands. Each Angel Tag represents a keiki or kūpuna who registered to receive a gift through the program this Christmas. Pick a tag from the Angel Tree, purchase the suggested gift or something similar, and return the gift, unwrapped, with the tag code to the same location.

Donated gifts are matched with an individual or family in our Christmas gift assistance program. Because each corps serves a unique community, each runs its Angel Tree a little differently. At some corps, each tag names a specific gift for a specific person. Others match gifts with registered individuals ahead of distribution day, and some host a “toy shop” where parents and caregivers choose from donated gifts for their keiki. However your local corps does it, your gift brings joy to a neighbor in need.
