Angel Tree 2025

Give joy to a child, teen, senior, or family in need this Christmas by donating a gift through the Hawaiian & Pacific Islands Angel Tree program.

About the Angel Tree Program

Each holiday season, The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program delivers gifts to keiki, kupuna, and families in need across Hawai‘i and the Pacific Islands. What began in the United States in 1979 with wish-filled cards on a mall Christmas tree has grown into a beloved holiday tradition, helping communities celebrate the spirit of Christmas.

As more of our local neighbors face financial hardship, your generosity helps bring hope and holiday cheer to those who need it most. Every gift represents more than a present—it’s a message of care, dignity, and joy.

Walmart Angel Tree Registries for Hawai'i

Shop from the comfort of home through our Walmart Registry for Good. Select your island or community, choose a gift, and it will be shipped directly to your local Salvation Army for distribution.

Give In Person

Prefer to shop locally? Angel Trees and Angel Tags are available at Salvation Army Corps and corporate partner locations statewide. Each Angel Tag represents a keiki or kupuna with a special Christmas wish.

Pick an Angel Tag, purchase the requested gift (or a similar item), and return it with the tag to the same location. Your gift will go directly to your chosen “Angel” before Christmas.

Find an Angel Tree Near You: Angel Trees can be found at Salvation Army Corps, shopping centers, and participating businesses across Hawai‘i. If your organization is interested in hosting an Angel Tree in the future, please contact your local Salvation Army Corps.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are essential to collecting, sorting, and distributing Angel Tree gifts across the islands. Help make Christmas possible for thousands of keiki, kupuna, and families.
