Welcome to Silicon Valley Women's Auxiliary

A passionate fundraising and volunteer service group in Silicon Valley.

Welcome to The Salvation Army Silicon Valley Women's Auxiliary (SAWA) webpage! The Women’s Auxiliary is a fundraising and volunteer service group that supports The Salvation Army's local programs for women and children. Our Chapter sponsors initiatives that enrich the lives of Silicon Valley residents by meeting their unique needs. Activities include fundraising through approved projects and events, furnishing volunteer workers, leadership in group work, and many other activities. Together, we work diligently to raise funds and offer hands-on support.

The Women’s Auxiliary executes several annual events for the purpose of raising funds and awareness to assist underserved families. As our Chapter grows, the objective is to introduce even more volunteer opportunities.

Our current events and projects include:

  • Work of A.R.T. Garden Luncheon & Fine Art Auction - Friday, May 15, 2026
  • Holiday of Hope (in partnership with the Advisory Board)
  • Christmas Project for The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center in San Jose
  • Los Gatos Children’s Parade & Canteen
  • Adopt-a-Family at Christmas
  • Red Kettle Campaign (Volunteer at a Kettle Location and/or create individual Virtual Kettles)
