Spiritual and Worship Services in Alameda County
In Alameda County, we offer a welcoming and supportive environment where individuals in our community can connect with their faith and find peace.
Our dedicated team of local chaplains and volunteers provides compassionate spiritual care and help our neighbors explore their faith and develop a deeper connection with God.
The four Alameda county corps locations at Garden St., Oakland Chinatown, Hayward & Tri-Cities (Newark), provide the following spiritual and worship services:
Worship Services and Sunday School
The Salvation Army Corps Community Centers offer worship services every Sunday, as well as Sunday School sessions for children and adults.
Bible Studies and Fellowship
Reading the Bible and discussing the lessons and applications in today's world is an important part of fellowship and drawing closer to God. Bible studies and fellowship are available at all of The Salvation Army Corps Community Centers in Lake and Porter Counties.
Men's, Women's, and Youth Ministries
Ministry groups are hosted by each of the Corps Community Centers to provide opportunities for spiritual growth, mentorship, and fellowship. The groups plan projects, events, retreats, and experiences to improve their communities and promote a closeness to God.
