Typhoon Halong Support

We are partnered with the Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities and Big Ray's to provide Typhoon Halong Evacuees with vouchers to receive warm gear this winter.

When Typhoon Halong caused more than 1,500 Western Alaskans to evacuate their homes, they left behind most of their belongings, including winter gear.

The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT&PF), and the Salvation Army Alaska Division, are partnering with Big Ray's to provide evacuees with vouchers for warm, reflective cold-weather gear. This program ensures families have the right equipment to stay safe and comfortable in Alaska's harsh conditions.

You can help by donating to the Typhoon Halong Evacuee Voucher Program. Your contribution will directly support fellow Alaskans displaced by this devastating storm, and helps ensure they are protected through the winter and as they rebuild their lives.

Your donations support one voucher per evacuee.
