We Offer Hope and Refuge
The Salvation Army Center of Hope Family Shelter is the only family emergency shelter in Forsyth County. It provides a safe refuge and the resources to give families and individuals a fresh start and a return to permanent housing and stability. The Center of Hope gives shelter to single mothers, single fathers, and parents with children.
While at the Center of Hope, families and individuals participate in customized programs and life skills classes to promote self-sufficiency and personal development. Each resident meets with our on-site caseworker, and together they develop an extensive goal-oriented program designed to identify and overcome the barriers to safe, permanent housing. The Center of Hope is more than just a roof over their heads and a warm bed - it is the first step on the journey to overcoming poverty and homelessness.
If you or someone you know in the community is experiencing homelessness, please reach out to our local office for assistance. We are here to help.
