Angel Tree

Imagine the heartbreak on a child's face when they wake up on Christmas morning with no presents to open. Thousands of kids in the Winston-Salem area will not receive any Christmas presents this year because their parents have to make the impossible choice of paying bills instead of buying Christmas presents.  

Because of people like you, The Salvation Army Angel Tree program was able to provide Christmas gifts for more than 1,500 kids in the Winston-Salem area last year. We hope to reach over 2,000 kids this year.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Children must be 0-12 years old
  • Documents Needed: 1) Valid photo ID for parent, 2) Proof of residency such as a power bill, 3) Birth certificate or shot record with child’s birth date on it for each child.
  • Applicant must have primary legal custody, or paperwork showing legal guardianship, of the child.
  • Must live in Forsyth, Stokes, Davie, or Yadkin county.

REQUISITOS de SOLICITUD

  • Los niños deben tener entre 0 y 12 años de edad.
  • Documentos necesarios: 1) Identificación oficial con fotografía del padre o madre/tutor, 2) Comprobante de domicilio (como una factura de servicios públicos) y 3) Certificado de nacimiento o registro de vacunación que indique la fecha de nacimiento de cada niño.
  • El solicitante debe tener la custodia legal principal del niño o presentar documentación que acredite la tutela legal.
  • Debe residir en el condado de Forsyth o Davie o Stokes oYakin.
