Faith
How we help share God's love
Charlotte is home to two Salvation Army Worship Centers (or churches): Temple Corps and Belmont Avenue Corps. These faith communities are at the center of the Army Ministry. At our Salvation Army Worship Centers, people from all walks of life find healing and a sense of family. Everyone is welcome.
Salvation Army Officers serve primarily as clergy at Salvation Army Worship Centers. Salvation Army Officers are ordained ministers that can perform marriages and dedicate children and who regularly provide ministerial duties for their congregations. Come worship with us!
The Corps worship centers are dedicated to our founder’s mission to bring hope and healing to people from all walks of life. Worship centers offer programs for the entire family, including Bible studies, youth and adult ministry, programs for seniors, and social services.
