Hunger Services at Augusta Area Command
The Salvation Army of Augusta helps address hunger in our community through its Soup Kitchen at the Center of Hope. Free, hot evening meals are served to shelter residents and community members every day of the year.
Dinner is served daily at 5:30 p.m. Individuals do not need to be staying at the Center of Hope to receive a meal.
Please note: The Augusta Area Command does not operate a food pantry or distribute grocery boxes.
The Center of Hope Soup Kitchen
Our Soup Kitchen provides nutritious meals in a welcoming environment to individuals and families experiencing hunger or hardship. Whether someone is staying at our emergency shelter or simply needs help accessing a hot meal, they are welcome to join us for dinner.
Through the generosity of donors, volunteers and community partners, we are able to serve our neighbors 365 days a year.

- The Salvation Army Center of Hope provides free breakfast and dinner to its shelter residents every single day.
- A warm-cooked dinner is available every evening to anyone in the community. Dinner is served from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM.

At The Salvation Army, we know that one of the first results to occur in times of crisis is food insecurity. We are is dedicated to eliminating food insecurity by serving anyone in need.
