Angel Tree Applications for the 2026 Holiday season will open on Monday, October, 5th at 9 AM. Click the button below to apply. This program is available for children ages 12 and under. To qualify, your child must still be 12 years old by December 31, 2026. To apply, click the button below. Before applying, we encourage you to review the application guidelines to ensure you have all the necessary information.

Angel Tree
Each year, The Salvation Army of Augusta’s Angel Tree Program ensures that local children experiencing financial hardship wake up to gifts, clothing, and essentials on Christmas morning. This year, we are honored to serve about 500 families — representing more than 1,200 children across the Augusta area. Your generosity makes this possible.
How to Adopt an Angel
Angel Tree tags list a child’s age, clothing sizes, needs, and holiday wish list. You can select a tag in person or shop online.

Prefer to give from home? You can purchase gifts directly through our Walmart Angel Tree Registry, and items will ship straight to us.
Gift Drop-Off Information
All Angel Tree gifts must be dropped off at The Salvation Army Kroc Center (1833 Broad Street, Augusta, GA). Please return gifts unwrapped and with their Angel tag attached.
Volunteer with Angel Tree
Behind the scenes, dozens of volunteers help sort gifts and prepare for our distribution day. We invite you to give the gift of your time this Christmas. Volunteers are needed for gift sorting and prep, as well as support on Distribution Day. Click the button below to register.

The Angel Tree Program
The Angel Tree program provided gifts for more than one million children last Christmas. If you are at risk of not being able to provide presents for your children this holiday season, please reach out to your local Salvation Army. Adopt an Angel
In a typical year, The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program puts new clothes and toys under the tree for 1 million children who usually must go without Christmas gifts. Anonymous donors adopt these little “angels” in an expanding Christmas tradition that makes the season more rewarding for the gift giver and happier for the receiver. This year, please consider taking a few more angels off the tree or donating gifts in bulk.
