2026 Angel Tree Kickoff

About the event

The Salvation Army invites the community to the exciting kick-off of the Angel Tree Program on Friday, November 6th at 12:00 PM, located on the lower level of Woodland Hills Mall in the atrium next to Macy’s.

This special event officially launches the season of giving, bringing the community together to support children and seniors in need.

This year, The Salvation Army Tulsa Area Command will serve over 4,000 Angels in Tulsa area.

We are honored to be hosting local content creators from the Tulsa area to help us kick off an impactful event that will allow us to be part of caring for our neighbors this holiday season, and their participation reminds us how true the sentiment "it takes a village" still rings true in bringing Christmas joy to those in need.

This event will be hosted alongside Griffin Media, as well as News Anchor, LeAnne Taylor, our honored guest.

The program will include a warm welcome from Major Charlotte Gargis, thanks and recognition to Woodland Hills Mall and Griffin Media our official Angel Tree media sponsor, and special appreciation to The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary, Advisory Board, and the Soldiers of The Salvation Army. Followed by a brief message for the season from Major Carlyle Gargis.
