Fighting Food Insecurity Across the Mississippi Gulf Coast
The Salvation Army is committed to helping individuals and families facing food insecurity throughout the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Through our Centers of Hope in Gulfport and Pascagoula, we provide food assistance, monthly food boxes, and community food distributions to help meet the needs of our neighbors with dignity, compassion, and hope.
Whether you are experiencing a temporary hardship or an ongoing challenge, our goal is to provide nutritious food and supportive services that help individuals and families move toward stability.

Monday – Thursday
8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Office closed from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM for lunch.

Assistance Guidelines
Eligible households may receive food pantry assistance once every 90 days.

Food assistance is available on a first-come, first-served basis at 11:30 am - Noon during the following distribution days:
- Monday
- Wednesday
- Thursday
George County Food Distribution
The Salvation Army also serves residents in George County through a monthly food distribution program.
