Women's Auxiliary

The goal of The Salvation Army's Women's Ministries is to bring women into the knowledge of Jesus Christ, encourage their full leadership potential pertaining to family, friends and community, equipping them for growth in personal understanding and in life skills, and to address issues that affect women and their families around the world.

The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliaries of Western Pennsylvania offer opportunities for women to serve in their local communities. Join us to help:

  • Host birthday parties for rehabilitation center clients
  • Organize The Salvation Army Christmas toy programs
  • Bible lessons for inmates
  • Assist in the application process for Christmas assistance
  • Make gifts for shut-ins
  • Operate fundraising activities
  • Give women the fellowship of those with a heart for service

FALL FABRIC FAIR 2026  

The Salvation Army Greater Pittsburgh Women's Auxiliary's bi-annual fabric fairs will delight with patterns, beautiful upholstery, elegant fabric, yarns and notions at discount prices. Find great bargains and rare fabrics, all proceeds help your neighbors in need across Allegheny County!

Saturday, October 3, 2026 – 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Due to large crowds, carts and strollers are not permitted at the event. Fabric, craft, and notions donations will not be accepted at the event. 

FABRIC FAIR DONATIONS

ACCEPTED DONATIONS: Fabric, yarn, notions, patterns, craft items, sewing machines and accessories donations can be dropped off February through October at the locations listed below. Call 412-446-1500 with any questions.
Book and magazine donations are currently not being accepted and donations are not able to be accepted at the Fabric Fair event.

VOLUNTEER SIGN-UPS: Please consider “Doing the Most Good” by volunteering to sort, measure and price donations at The Salvation Army warehouse. All are welcome! Call 412 446-1534 for more information.
