Resource Rally: The Salvation Army, Concord Hospitality and Feed the Children Host Event in Homewood

WHO: Leaders from The Salvation Army Western Pennsylvania Division, Concord Hospitality and Feed the Children will be available for photos and interviews at this distribution event.
WHAT: Concord Hospitality, Feed the Children and The Salvation Army are partnering to feed and assist 400 families in the Homewood area of Pittsburgh. Each family will receive a 25-pound box of food and a 15-pound box of hygiene essentials and additional products. Vouchers will be distributed in advance and volunteers will be on site to help families.
WHEN: Distribution from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. on Friday, May 1, 2026.
WHY: Celebrating more than 160 years of global service as both a church and a social service organization, The Salvation Army began in London, England in 1865. Today, it provides critical services in 134 countries worldwide. The 28-county Western Pennsylvania Division serves thousands of individuals through a wide variety of support services. This event, in partnership with Concord Hospitality and Feed the Children, will serve families in need throughout the Homewood area of Pittsburgh.
