Prom for a Cause: The Salvation Army of Washington Hosts New Fundraiser

WHO: The Salvation Army Washington Worship and Service Center invites the community to an enchanted evening for a good cause! This new fundraiser, dubbed an “adult prom,” will feature music by DJ Madd Mike of Skyline Entertainment.

WHAT: Dust off your dancing shoes and favorite formal finds! Join The Salvation Army for the Enchanted Forest Adult Prom, an evening of fun and fundraising designed for ages 25 and older. Heavy appetizers and refreshments will be served. Secure tickets in advance for $25 or show your support by making a donation at: https://give.salvationarmy.org/washingtonprom. Tickets can also be purchased in person (cash only) at The Salvation Army location on 60 E. Maiden Street.

WHEN: Saturday, May 23, 2026, beginning at 7 p.m.

WHERE: North Franklin Fire Hall, 565 Sylvan Drive, Washington, PA 15301.

WHY: This event is more than just a celebration, it’s an opportunity for the community to come together to support neighbors in need. Proceeds from the evening will go directly toward The Salvation Army’s local essential programs, including rent/utility and food assistance. There is an increased need to financially support these critical services that so many individuals and families in Washington County rely on during times of hardship. Every ticket purchased, every donation given and every show of support helps ensure the local Salvation Army can meet the growing needs of the community.
