FABRIC MEASURING – GREEN TREE

Volunteers are needed to measure the length and width of pieces of fabric, fold them, and tie them into bundles in preparation for the fabric to be priced by Women's Auxiliary Members for sale at the Fabric Fair.

HOT MEALS FOR THE UNHOUSED – EAST LIBERTY
Who: Great for Groups!
What: The Family Caring Center provides shelter, meals, and supportive services to families experiencing homelessness. On cold winter nights, though, it also opens its doors for up to 20 unhoused women to get a hot meal and warm bed for the night, and we would greatly appreciate help from the community to provide these meals. The meals can either be brought in ready to serve or be cooked at our facility, which has a full commercial kitchen. Please sign up below for any evening you're willing to provide and serve a meal. You can recruit a few others to assist you, but we won't ask you to list their names on the sign-up. When you sign up, please let us know if you plan to cook at our facility or if you'll bring the meals ready to serve.
Date: Any date(s) from November 15 through March 31
Time: Meals should be served at 7 PM. Any cooking at the facility must start after 5:30 PM.
Where: 6017 Broad Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15206 (East Liberty)
