Faith Found at Camp Allegheny

Because of generous supporters, children experience encouragement, mentorship, and faith-filled moments at camp.

Each summer at Camp Allegheny, children have the opportunity not only to explore the outdoors and build friendships, but also to grow in their faith and begin life-defining spiritual journeys.

One summer during “Jesus Theater”, a Gospel presentation where campers gather to hear the message of Christ, an 11-year-old boy quietly raised his hand and said, “I want Jesus to come into my life.”

For the staff and counselors present, it was a powerful reminder of why camp matters.

Moments like this happen throughout the whole summer. Many children choose to seek Christ during their time at Camp Allegheny, surrounded by trusted adults and a community where they feel safe, cared for, and valued.

Thank you for helping create a place where children can encounter Christ, grow in their faith, and begin a lifelong journey with Him.
