Youth Services for Central Kentucky Area Services
The Salvation Army is committed to empowering young people and providing them with opportunities to thrive. Our local youth programs offer a variety of activities and services designed to inspire, educate, and support young people.
We understand the challenges and opportunities facing young people in our community today. Our dedicated local staff and volunteers are committed to creating a safe and positive environment where young people can learn, grow, and develop important life skills. Through mentoring, tutoring, summer camp, music programs, and recreational activities, we strive to help young people in our area reach their full potential.

Children ages 7-13 can enjoy a week away at camp in Oregonia, Ohio. The Salvation Army has camps around the country that provide a Christ-centered experience in a safe environment were children can establish life-long connections and discover new interests. Daily activities include chapel, archery, swimming, high ropes, and various arts.
