At its heart, The Salvation Army is a church. This foundation is what motivates us to do the work that we do.
We love God and serve others because of His love for all. That’s where our mission comes from – to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet needs in His name without discrimination.
All are welcome at our Salvation Army worship services on Sundays and weekday ministries. The Salvation Army Toledo Temple is located at 620 North Erie Street, Toledo, OH 43604. You don't need to have ever stepped into a church before to walk through our doors. You'll find that our services are pretty informal, and even fun. We’d love to see you anytime.
Worship with Us!
Some facts about our Toledo Temple church:
- We are a small church. We will know your name after your first visit.
- We have a nursery. Your children may worship with you or enjoy a Bible story and activities in our nursery.
- We like to serve others. For those who are interested we have opportunities to serve the “least of these” through serving those in drug/alcohol rehabilitation, nursing home and prison ministries.
- We sing both Hymns and Praise & Worship and don’t get hung up on a weekly model of worship. Instead our focus is on our *mission.
