Across America, 47.4 million people face uncertainty about their next meal, including 13.5 million children. Many families must make difficult choices every day, deciding between groceries, rent, medicine, and other necessities.

It’s a quiet challenge; sometimes a parent skipping meals so their children can eat, sometimes a senior choosing between groceries and medication. But for those affected, the stress and worry are very real.

Thanks to compassionate supporters like you, The Salvation Army steps in with hope and practical care. Every day, we provide an average of 150,000 meals across the communities we serve through food pantries, community meals and grocery assistance programs. Neighbors find more than food; they find relief, stability, and dignity.

Every meal served, every bag of groceries distributed, and every connection made helps children grow, families stay strong, and individuals regain their footing. Your generosity ensures that no one has to face hunger alone, and that hope is on the table for every neighbor in need.
