The Salvation Army of Greater Rochester’s Food Pantry & Social Services provides food assistance and other essential support to individuals and families throughout Monroe County.
Our team understands that everyone’s circumstances are different. In addition to helping meet immediate needs, our staff can connect individuals and families with available resources, Salvation Army programs, and other community services.
How We Can Help
Services include:
- Choice Pantry food assistance
- Personal hygiene items
- Prescription assistance
- Bus passes (when available)
- Clothing assistance
- Diaper assistance
- Advocacy and referrals to community resources
- Crisis assessment and case management
- Registration for Salvation Army programs, including Project Bundle Up, Long Point Camp, Christmas Assistance, and other seasonal programs

Our Choice Pantry offers a more welcoming and flexible way to receive food assistance. Instead of receiving pre-selected food items, guests are able to choose from available foods based on your household’s needs and preferences.

Some services and programs are available on a first come, first served basis and may be subject to availability.
