Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force
Established in 2015 • Partnerships with federal and local law enforcement • Identification of victims • Enhance protocol for trafficking investigations • Coordinating training for law enforcement
Victim Advocacy
Intensive, comprehensive mobile case management services • Serves survivors of commercial sexual exploitation, labor trafficking, and sex trafficking • Supports task force in Philadelphia and Montgomery counties • Victim engagement and support • Referrals, safety planning, court accompaniment
Youth-Focused Services
Partnered with Philadelphia Children and Youth Department • Supports and advocates for at-risk youth • Human trafficking assessments and identifcation of survivors • Weekly outreach to youth awaiting placement in the "DHS childcare room" • Food, personal care products, and groups for at-risk and trafficked youth • Referrals for supportive services
Working to Restore Adolescents' Power (WRAP)
One of the only trafficking-specific court rooms in the country • Serves dependent and delinquent youth survivors of trafficking within the family court • New Day serves as Victim Specialist in the courtroom • Trauma informed courtroom with a multi-disciplinary team approach
Labor Trafficking and Immigration
Partnerships with culturally specific and legal organizations to provide specialized support • Language access • Victim advocacy and accompaniment through the immigration process • Training and outreach to immigrant communities
