The Angel Tree Program
The Angel Tree program in Greater Philadelphia provides gifts for hundreds of children each year. If you are at risk of not being able to provide presents for your children this holiday season, please contact us. In Greater Philadelphia, you can organize a group to adopt a family in need and help them have a more joyous Christmas celebration. The Adopt-A-Family program serves a limited number of families who are experiencing extreme hardship during the holiday season. The common factor shared by all adopted families is their strong need for special care and extra assistance during Christmas.

This is a group gift giving program great for families, corporate sponsors, or holiday party attendees! Donors are assigned a list of "Angels" and can shop for the perfect gift for the indicated age and gender. The gifts are returned to our office (or shipped) in mid-December for distribution to a local child in need. Click the link below to sponsor a larger quantity of Angels or to sign up for a toy drive.

Adopt an Angel
In a typical year, The Salvation Army Angel Tree program puts new clothes and toys under the tree for 1 million children who usually must go without Christmas gifts. Anonymous donors adopt these little “angels” in an expanding Christmas tradition that makes the season more rewarding for the gift giver and happier for the receiver. This year, please consider taking a few more angels off the tree or donating gifts in bulk.
