Advisory Board (Milwaukee County)

We’re inviting passionate, forward-thinking community leaders to join our Advisory Board. As a member, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with other dynamic leaders who care deeply about our community.
  • Contribute your creativity and experience to make a lasting difference.

If you’re ready to invest your time, skills, and heart into serving Milwaukee County, we’d love to welcome you to our Advisory Board. Together, we can bring hope, resources, and support to those who need it most.

Board Member Responsibilities and Commitment

  • Respect the mission of The Salvation Army
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the local vision and strategic plan
  • Have a willingness to learn about this multi-faceted organization
  • Financial support
  • Payment of lunch fees
  • Financial support of at least one additional event or program per year
  • Volunteer/Attend at least one Advisory Board event per year
  • Accept and complete assignments
  • Protect confidentiality of agency matters, avoid conflicts of interest, and be loyal to The Salvation Army
  • Support and advocate The Salvation Army's mission, programs, and services in the community
  • Open doors that develop relationships and identify opportunities in the community
  • Serve as a liaison between The Salvation Army of Milwaukee County and the community
  • Provide focus and strategic vision for the Advisory Board and CorpsDemonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, and passion
  • Make two referrals of potential new Advisory Board members per year
