The Salvation Army is committed to supporting those who served our nation by offering a variety of veterans services to meet their needs. Whether it’s phone cards to call home, wheelchair assistance, large-print Bibles, or a friendly smile and companionship for the afternoon, we’re always ready to come to the aid of a veteran. From treatment for substance use disorder to facilitating family reunification, housing placement, and specialized job training programs, The Salvation Army provides U.S. veterans with support while they rebuild their civilian lives. Additional training for new skill sets and development in the areas of education, employment, health, finance, housing, and social relationships is also available.
