The Salvation Army Northern Division: Serving everyone, everywhere in Minnesota and North Dakota

The Salvation Army Northern Division serves people everywhere in Minnesota and North Dakota, with centers of operation in nearly every major city. Each center offers some or all of the specific services listed at bottom.

Food.jpgIn addition, our Service Extension program includes staff and volunteers who work remotely to offer services in all 140 counties of both states.

Together, these programs and facilities allow The Salvation Army Northern Division to be an omnipresent provider of services for anyone in need, wherever they are in Minnesota or North Dakota.

Our main areas of service include:

  • Basic Needs: Food, clothing and shelter, plus assistance with rent and utilities.
  • Housing: Temporary and long-term housing for people of all ages.
  • Disaster Relief: Food, water and comfort for disaster survivors and relief workers.
  • Counseling: One-on-one help with life skills, job searching, spiritual support, and more.
  • Youth Services: After-school programs, music, sports, summer camp, and other positive activities.
