Local celebrities to ring bells at Mall of America Wednesday, Dec. 17

Celeb-300x200.jpgLocal celebrities – including new Minnesota Twins manager Derek Shelton, and Minnesota Vikings legends – will ring bells for The Salvation Army at Mall of America from 3 – 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17. TV and radio personalities, sports mascots, and others will also participate in the event, which will take place at the Rotunda (first level, near the East Parking Ramp).

All donations made to the celebrities’ Red Kettles will provide double the support for local families in need thanks to The Salvation Army’s annual Christmas Match, going on Dec. 15 through New Year’s Eve.

The full list of celebrity bell ringers is as follows: 

nordy-300x200.jpg3 p.m. – 4 p.m.: Boyd Huppert, Emmy award-winning journalist from KARE 11; Nordy, Minnesota Wild mascot; Mike Max, WCCO-TV sports anchor; Ben Williams, Minnesota Vikings legend.

4 p.m. – 5 p.m.: Pam Lundell, KTIS-FM radio personality; Esera Tuaolo, Minnesota Vikings legend; Vanessa Boreland (4–4:30), Love is Blind TV show personality; Boyd Huppert.

4:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.: Love is Blind TV show personalities Sara Carton, Joey Leveille, David Bettenburg, Scott Sanderson.

5 p.m. – 6 p.m.:  "PT," radio personality from 102.9 The Wolf; Scott Studwell, Minnesota Vikings legend; Lindsay Whalen, Minnesota basketball legend.

5:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.: Jackie Thesing, local foodie and owner of SweetGirlTreatsMN.com

6 p.m. – 7 p.m.: Derek Shelton, Minnesota Twins manager; Amy James, K102 radio personality; Mike Morris and Randall McDaniel, Minnesota Vikings legends.

This Christmas season, support The Salvation Army by giving a donation or ringing bells at a Red Kettle. Your generosity will bring joy to local families in need.
