Donations matched on Giving Tuesday

The nation’s biggest day of generosity is upon us – Giving Tuesday on Dec. 2, 2025. Give now. 

To help celebrate this event and encourage others to give, a generous donor who prefers to remain anonymous will match all gifts made to the Twin Cities Salvation Army on Giving Tuesday, up to $25,000.

Here are three ways your donation to The Salvation Army on Giving Tuesday will make an impact:

Gifts stay local: Your donation will be used to support Salvation Army services offered in your billing ZIP code, funding vital programs that help local families with groceries, utility bills, rent assistance, Christmas presents, and more.  

Buying in bulk: We buy food in bulk to stretch your dollar further than what you can purchase and donate yourself. This allows your gift to multiply into more hot meals, groceries, and other support. 

Mission-first service: We serve in the name of Jesus Christ, without discrimination – a mission that hasn’t changed since The Salvation Army was founded in 1865.
