The Salvation Army of Winnebago County was proud to once again join the Rockford Police Department and community partners for National Night Out, an annual event that is designed to strengthen relationships between residents, law enforcement and community organizations.

The Salvation Army’s mobile canteen was on site for the evening, with staff and volunteers serving hundreds of meals to community members who came out to enjoy the event.

For The Salvation Army, National Night Out is about more than providing a meal. It is an opportunity to meet neighbors, connect with families and be present in the community we serve every day.
