Lou Bachrdot's 28th Annual 12 Hours of Salvation Toy Drive
Community generosity was on full display Friday, December 5, 2025, during the annual 12 Hours of Salvation Toy Drive, hosted by Lou Bachrodt in support of The Salvation Army of Winnebago County. The long-standing holiday tradition brought together residents, organizations, and businesses with a shared goal of meeting the growing needs of local families. Throughout the day, donors filled the showroom with new toys that will brought hope and joy to children across Winnebago County this Christmas season.

By the end of the drive, more than 6,000 toys had been collected for The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program. This year alone, more than 2,000 children were registered to receive gifts through the Angel Tree Program, reflecting the significant level of need within the community. Each donated toy represents more than a gift. It is a tangible reminder to families that they are seen, supported, and not alone during a challenging time.

The Salvation Army extends its sincere gratitude to every individual, family, organization, and volunteer who contributed to the success of this year’s toy drive, as well as to the team at Lou Bachrodt for their continued partnership. Their generosity ensures The Salvation Army can continue its mission of serving those in need and providing dignity, hope, and the promise of Christmas to thousands of local children and families.
