Our local Veterans are often some of the most vulnerable to life challenges such as homelessness, mental health struggles, food insecurity and poverty.
Our SSVF program operates out of the Veteran Outreach Center, located at 416 NE Jefferson St.
Some of the services provided include...
- Utility and/or Rent Deposits / Payment Assistance
- Specialized Information & Resource Referrals
- Bus Fare / Transportation Expenses
- Case Management
Please note that limitations on The Salvation Army's Veteran Services prevent us from assisting with: Mortgage Payments, Contract for Deed, Rent to Own, or Car Payments.
