North and Central Illinois Division's Cold Weather Warming Centers
During periods of extreme cold, Salvation Army staff are especially vigilant in encouraging individuals and families to seek safe, warm shelter. Many Salvation Army Corps and Service locations throughout North and Central Illinois have been activated to serve as warming shelters. These locations assist those without stable, consistent heating, and adequate shelter.
