Beneficiary Designation or Estate Gift
One of the easiest ways to leave a lasting legacy is by naming The Salvation Army as a beneficiary of your assets or in your estate plans. Many of these gifts cost nothing today and can provide hope for generations to come.
Life Insurance
Request a beneficiary form from your insurance company and name The Salvation Army Midland Division as a full or partial beneficiary.
IRA or Retirement Account
Contact your plan administrator to update your beneficiary designation and include The Salvation Army Midland Division.
Bank or Investment Account
Ask your fiduciary for a Payable-on-Death (POD) form and designate The Salvation Army Midland Division as a beneficiary.
Real Estate or Property
Speak with your attorney about including property in your estate plans or complete a Beneficiary Deed or Transfer on Death Deed (TOD) designating The Salvation Army Midland Division as beneficiary of your property upon passing. While beneficiary deeds are recognized in many states including Missouri and Illinois, they are not available in all states.
Will or Trust
