"In recent months, Moore has led The Salvation Army through two major projects: providing emergency disaster services following last spring’s tornado and opening a drop-in center for survivors of human trafficking in the St. Louis area. 'This is something we have long been wanting to do, and we reached that critical tipping point this [past] year where we had the space, the funding, and the trauma-informed and trained staff to take this on,' Moore says of the latter. 'Missouri and St. Louis rank among the top locations in the country for human trafficking, so it was a tremendous accomplishment to serve the community and meet this significant need.'”
