Adopt An Angel

The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program is underway! The Angel Tree Program serves lower income families with gifts for their children for Christmas.  Lower income senior citizens who have no children in their home can also be assisted with a gift for the holidays. Each year South Central Area Command  Salvation Army serves approximately 8000 children and over 500 seniors through their Angel Tree Program.  This is made possible through partnerships with area businesses and organizations and by individuals who purchase gifts.   

If you would like to purchase toys for a child, you may select an angel at area Walmart stores, Sam’s Club stores, Towne East Mall, or on our virtual Angel Tree site.

Angel Trees will be at the mall location beginning Novemer 28th: 

Towne East Square Mall 7700 E KELLOG DR, WICHITA, KS

Please go to any of the angel trees to select an angel and purchase the listed, requested Christmas gifts for that child.   

Once purchased, gifts need to be dropped off at Walmart customer service counter, or with volunteers at The Salvation Army Angel Tree area at Towne East Mall by December 6th. Gifts can also be dropped off at The Salvation Army at 350 N. Market Monday-Friday from 8:45 a.m. - 12 p.m. and from 12:30 p.m. - 4 p.m. The child’s name and angel tree code should be firmly attached to each gift.
